Importing a shell should be easier ... but, considering that so many of the 
cars are in original condition, you'd probably have to settle for a fixer 
upper.

I doubt that the better condition ones will get parted  :)

Again, save me the Orange 76 Auto ... a little elbow grease and that thing 
will shine like a museum piece!

Better yet, what is the law about importing uni-bodies.  For example, if I
imported a non-running straight body, and tell them that I am swapping all
the running gear, interior, etc into it, would that then satisfy them, or is
the shell not considered "parts".  I can get used transmission parts, or
used interior parts, what about a whole body?  What about having Dirk source
one, pull the engine and trans, and then I arrange shipping to the states as
a used uni-body?  The MKI "body" itself is certified, just not the bumpers,
turnsignals, and non cat engine, right?
