Is the turbo OK? Could the turbo have shredded, leaking parts into the head which caused all the damage? It does sound like what you would see with a timing chain failure. I've never heard of one failing before. Does the engine has non-stock cams in it? I'm guessing it would. Maybe somebody messed up the chain when they swapped cams?? BH
