fuel delivery problem?

I had this happen on an A2 Jetta recently. Rolling along in gear at an idle the car would start lurching so much that it made you glad the seats have head restraints. It was cured by a new boot between the air pipe and the throttle body. (all of $7 at Adirondak!)

The rocking of the engine pulls on the boot and opens any crack that might be there.

Check for cracks in your intake boot. When you accelerate the engine moves
slightly and creates a huge vacuum leak. That is the most obvious thing
that comes to mind the other is a loose connections somewhere like a ground
 or something.
