wheel bearing tool



I think it works by screw action.  Turn the bolt and it pulls the bearinig
out housing with a backup plate.  Check out this web page.  I made one of
these for my 240 and it worked great.  I could probably recreate it for the
scirocco.  Hell it might fit now.

By the way my bushings were in far worse shape than these and they came out
just fine.

Defineately interesting.  I would probably just use it to compliment my
press since I can't see how you would use it on a vehicle unless you had a
slide hammer.  I can't think of any domestic light trucks that would use
that though!  Sort of looks it was catered to work on all different sizes of
the VW/Audi cars.  It is interesting but defineately looks cheap in true
Harbor Freight fashion.
