OT: Need XP Pro Help badly!

Chris - like I said in the original email, the card came with the P4 VAIO from an ATI employee and was functioning fine (although I wouldn't say perfectly) on WinME...
Could someone define "flashing" the BIOS? I assume it means updating it, but I've never done that before...
In a perfect world, I'd jump out and buy a new card, but I have two ATI cards (btw my 64MB Radeon is a 8500 (not as 7500 as previously stated by my rookie ass)) and my funds need to go to 1) house 2) New Mk1 and associated projects and the computer comes somewhere down the road...actually, I have three cards if you count my 8MB AIW....
The second ATI is a 32MB AIW Radeon that doesn't even have a standard monitor input port - just an S-Vid IN, S-Vid OUT and plug that looks like an HDTV input (do they make adapters for that??)
Somewhere tonight between wrapping presents and dinner, I have to rip the machine apart to get the board model # and chipset#...
Again, thanks for the help - JT

Oops, I knew I left something out. I meant to add that I would first check
for any updated drivers and then look for any hardware conflicts that may be
causing this. As for the original poster: Are you positive you have a good
card that will work in a different system?

Chris
