Air Compressor - what to buy?

well ..
im actually already buying my tools for the shop that im gonna open in a few
months
( pretty much got about 6 months till im a fully licenced class A mechanic )
i have gotten myself a compressor that will suit my application with
upgradability in mind
so i got a Ingersoll Rand 2475N7.5
here's thir site ..
http://air.irco.com/asg/small_recip/index.asp
dig around if u see something that u find give'em a call ( 1 800 air serv )
hers the specs of my lil monster
7.5 Hp motor w/ 80 Gal. Vertical Tank
24.3 CFM/min - 175 Psi Max.
Dimmensions:
L x W x H (in)
26" x 38" x 70"
weight : about 500 Lbs + packaging
and also has a few other cool features ( value packaged version )
but also set me back about $2000 CAN :yikes:
i would suggest raiding your local home depot or sears for something that
will suit your app.
that might be a bit cheaper ...
anyways ..
good luck ...
