GTi head swap question

no power gains, the GTI engine gets its 10:1 compression from the pistons. The only real difference between the heads is the GTi has hydraulic lifters, so your engine will be quieter. Though if you rev you're engine really high often solid lifters are recommended- I personally plan on going hydro but I don't push my engine above 5k much- far as I know problems with hyrdo heads only occur around redline, they bottom out or something-
