nah I have mine complete on the daily driver and it does it, and on my
prowler rocco, I don't have it at all (cold ram air intake only) and it
starts without an issue.

  Sounds like what would happen if you don't have that heater hose that goes
from the exauhst manifold to the airbox, connected.  Being you are in such
extrem cold conditions.
