Flowmaster wasn't blown...

Due to a busy schedule over the next 3 weeks, the need for my=
car (without a totally blown apart stock muffler), and my lack=
of money for shipping the supposed blown flowie off to TT for=
replacement, I decided to replace my completely blown apart=
stock 16v muffler with the "blown" flowmaster from the late 85'.=

The stock 16v muffler that came on the 87' was literally blown=
apart after a few weeks of living downstream of the monster. All=
down the seam including a 2" hole in the middle. I could put my=
 foot comfortably in it...

Apparently something was wrong with the 85', because the flowie=
doesn't sound blown on the 87'. No baffle rattle yet, and I just=
drove it home some 20 miles. We'll see, but it seems a lot=
quieter than I remember. Of course, I was getting used to the=
 migraine inducing blown one though.

So, for now, I retract all the bad things I said about=
 flowmaster.
