Lessee....    I buy oil and filters by the case.  As for
gas, when one is running low, I switch cars.  ;p

Methinks I need to pare down a bit though - insurance is
costly on a whole fleet of VWs.  (I pay more in car
insurance in 6 months than airplane insurance for a year.) 
I'd probably entertain offers on anything but the '88 16v.
