Racing guys, Safety Harnesses...

In my mk1 I'm using 3" latch belts. Currently, I am only
using them as a 4-point setup, but the 5th belt will be installed
eventually. I plan to add some sort of reinforcement plate to
the floor where I will mount the 5th belt.

The latch & link style is very reliable... simplicity is always good
in racing. I also prefer the pull-down sinching... this is really a
personal preference.

The cam lock system is a very nice setup. Nice, but expensive too.
The Simpson harness quality is excellent.
The only drawback to the camlock is that the lock will not release
if you are upside down in the vehicle...this is just something I heard,
but could be a serious issue if you couldn't release the belts to escape
from the car. Something to research...

The selection of harness belts is mostly about personal preferences IMO.
