Ebay find -> "Ottienger 99mm Forged VW Crankshaft"



Dave, I believe that you will have to machine the inside of your 2.0l block
to accept the 99mm crank. You should definitely balance everything to keep
everything from rattling apart. Lightening the crank is another good idea.
An ABA block would be a better choice because it has longer rods. Umm...
what else?... The pistons will be pushed up 6.2mm higher in the cylinders.
That means you'll need custom pistons to keep everything from coming to
blows and to maintain a civil compression ratio.

I guess that's "all" I can think of at the moment.
