Another no power problem - plz help!!!

I fixed my no power problem with a new knock sensor and k.s control unit, 
but now my car has a new problem - it bogs off the line.  Not so bad when 
starting normally - just slip the clutch a little more.  But to actually try 
and "go go gadget Scirocco", it just stumbles.  I tried a clutch dump, 
identical to my drag starts, and it dropped from 3200 rpm to around 800 then 
stumbles back up, before resuming at 2000 (normally, it doesn't drop below 
3000).  Any ideas?
Would the coolant temp. sensor be a possible culprit?  Or how about throttle 
body - my idle switch doesn't come on until a bit after the TB is fully 
closed - might I have broken it?  Any ideas welcome!
