Also, FWIW, the ETK CD's are now password protected (EPA does not require

release to the public) and the TIS CD's will be NLA as of Jan 03 at the
latest.  The dealers have moved to a web based version.  The CD is only
available right now because BMW is required to release that info to the BMW

close to the Jan 03 deadline mandated by the EPA.

Once the independents have access to the web site, at a subscription price

$2500 per year, the TIS CD will be dropped.

Oh, and on the pirated copies bit, bad news beyond your imagination.  FBI
just
shut down a guy in Pittsburgh (ebay user skycommunications) and from what I
hear, are going after many of his buyers, as despite getting pirated copies,
they "aided and abetted" his crime by posting positive feedback. A nice way
to
set an example.....
