Get the power. Oettinger Motor 1.6l 16v with ~136Hp (has some real umphf and
puts every 16v Golf to shame) for Golf 1, 2, Scirocco 1, 2 and others. Can
be easily installed in a GTI. Completely resealed, surfaced, and the valves
sealed about 1000 Km ago, only the headgasket might not have been put on
properly (shows somewhat increases water content in the exhaust gases when
measured, but doesn't use up any Water). Sparkplugs (special), plugs and
cables also only have 1000 Km on them. Distributor and Alternator,
Waterpump, Radiator are all included. Motor should be picked up, shipping
would likely be too expensive. I'll pay for Ebay expenses. Pictures on
request. Your bid is a contract. Happy bidding.
