You are both right, and you are wrong. Not about the transmission and clutch
but about the way the list works. There will always be mis-information on a
list like this, it's human nature. Hopefully there will be a few answers so
that the erroneous one can be picked out. Hopefully there will be sensible
people who will point out errors in an effort to educate the individual and
the group. Hopefully the lister asking the question will understand that he
may get incorrect information and decide to take the best and leave the
rest. If any one of these scenarios happens then the list works. What will
kill things is a flame war. It will discourage listers from engaging in
conversation. There is no list with only lurkers.

So please take this elsewhere.
