I'm sorry you feel that way, Steve. But, for the record, the very first thing I did was apologize for the incorrect info. I have no problem taking my lumps.
Believe me, I would have been much less offended and would not have even brought it up if I hadn't seen multiple instances on Dan coming down on people in the recent past.

Well,

Jeff, your attitude is a LOT worse than Dan's. I dont know either of you,
but reading his e-mail, it seemed mostly civil to me. He was pointing out
how COMPLETELY WRONG your info was to protect other people from thinking
it was true, and if he hadn't done it I would have.

you quoted:

what he said in context:
"Some of the misinformation on this list is really starting to bother me!
Let's all work on accurate and knowledgable information."

Here he even points the finger at everyone, Including himself to try to
take the sting out of his comments. I feel like that is a good goal and a
positive slant to encourage everyone to work toward more accurate e-mail
comments, certainly a way to make the best out of a bad situation.

Time to fess up, admit you were wrong and take your lumps. If you cant
play nice with others, i wont mind if you leave. bad info and subsequent
yelling contributes little if anything to the group.

take care,

Steve
