CIS is awesome!

I can't tell you how many mods I've done to my engine, 1.8->2.0, stock
cam->G grind->schrick 274, toilet bowl manifold->dual outlet with TT
2.25 exhaust, and not once have I had to do more than minor adjustments
for CIS to give the correct mixture.
2 days ago I changed from the 274 cam back to a G grind in anticipation
of the emissions test. The Haltech that I currently have installed on my
engine, of course, does not measure mass air flow. The G grind is soo
much more efficient at low speed (<3000RPM) cylinder filling that at
some points of the Haltech fuel map the mixture is up by 18%! Even
changing the cam timing by 2 deg requires remapping!
CIS may introduce some inlet restriction, but from an engineering point
of view it's an awesome design!
