my '86 weighed in at a little over 2600lbs. at the local scrap metalyard.
that was with the a/c removed, euro bumpers, spare tire removed, back seat
removed, carbon fibre hood, lightweight swaybars, lightened flywheel, power
windows converted to roll downs, no radio or speakers, one of those four
point subframes(wouldn't this add weight?), racing seats, and i guess some
kind of rims which were lighter than the stock ones. this was before i owned
the car and the p/o used it to auto cross.
