a/f analog gauge choices



That's a damn pretty gauge!
To bad it will tell you less than shit about the actual A/F ratio you're
running!
Really no matter if it has 1, 3 or 4 wires the O2 sensor is virtually a
switch and the meter treats it as if there is a linear relationship between
voltage and A/F ratio. That's why these meters are useless!
Did you notice how it says; "Accurately displays 14.7: 1 Stoichiometric Air:
Fuel Ratio" with no mention of accuracy beyond this range?
It's pretty much down to; do you want the pretty gauge face with no accuracy
or do you want an instrument to set up your car.
Check out www.diy-wb.org or www.fjoinc.com for more info. Both use a 5 wire
sensor with a controller to pump the O2 content in one cell to get an
accurate reading from the other O2 cell trully over a wide band.
