2.0L - A1 swap manifold/downpipe question

The 16v manifold is not the same manifold for a 16v in a Golf or Jetta.
The Scirocco's appears to be symetrical while the outlets on the others
are definitely off to one side (driver's).  I have a GLI manifold left
over from the engine replacement on my 87, which BTW was a huge PIA to
remove compared to a rocco manifold!  (Also have a upper 16v intake w/
TB for an A2 Golf/Jetta if anyone's interested)

Since the manifolds are different, the downpipes are also different.
The only other car that used the same manifold was the Corrado, but I'm
not sure about this.  Anyone?
