RE: coolant light

Huh. My coolant light doesn't come on full stop. Light's fine (it comes on
when first turning key) but at no other time. For instance, I checked my
coolant level before driving home last night and the reservoir was empty.
Completely empty. It's probably been that way for days....

Any ideas on why the light doesn't come on? Bad sensor? But then why does it
come on at all?

Ok, my coolant light seems to like coming on.
It seems to only do it on cool days/nights.
outside temp cool = thermo light on
outside temp warm = light off.


does this make any sense?
