Tobias,
my wheel bearing (front left), kinda failed the same way. for the first 1k
miles it made noise and contrary to common sense, it DIDNT change sound when
turning right/left. On top of that, it was almost impossible to tell where
it was coming from (i changed ALL bearings, front left LAST! damned thing).
