  Congrats on getting a great setup on the street.  Maybe you could find a
VR6 tranny?  It's a cable shifter, too, so that's an extreme solution I
guess.  At least it would bolt right up.

Someone on the Passat list mentioned having trouble with their ELECTRIC
brake booster on a B3 Passat.  A B3 is a Passat built before the redesign in
'95 (may be other exact year in Estonia!).  It's the passat without a grille
in the front, like Duan's.   Check the ETKA to get an idea, but that could
be a cheap source for electric brake boosting.
