I'd have to agree with Neal, fastest VW I've seen does 10.8 (Golf), but I 'd
never do that to mine, so modified it sounds like it will blow up. Most VW's
I've seen are considerably slower (mine for example). As for Camaros (and
their ilk), my Rocc is much faster than either my 70 or 77 Firebird, and it's
sure not doing 10's (in my experience, 10's = constant breakage, we see lots
of the fast Camaros dumping oil on the track regularly) And way more fun. And
(if I can say the "H" word) a Honda would be easier to modify, a bigger "go
fast" aftermarket. But I'm not changing.
