I have seen a supposedly 89 scirocco but it looked more like a corrado.
This was at an auto parts store in austin.  I saw it and the lady who owned
it was changing a turn signal bulb or some thing.  the person working at the
auto parts store said it was a scirocco and i was quick to tell him
otherwise.  " no it said scirocco on the back, it is an 89."   i just said
ok and got my parts, and assumed that it was an 89 from canada that someone
had imported to the states.

Just telling a story.
