22mm 16V MS on a 1981 Booster???

Will this work?

I need to get my pedal travel back but don't want the added boost from the
16V booster.

Is the Scirocco 16V's 22mm Master Cylinder and pedal assembly a direct
bolt-on to the 1981 Scirocco Booster?
