My answer is always, "Officer, take and look at my driving record and you'll
see that I have ZERO points. This is purely an anomaly, a fluke, etc. You
just happened to get me today. What can I say?"

That has saved me about three speeding tickets in the last two months. The
last time (last Tuesday night) I was doing 69 in a 50mph zone. (knock on
wood)
