3/4 tank of gas, however I do not think the filter has been replaced.

If the polarity is reversed it still does not explain why there is pressure
up to the fuel distributor but not to the injectors, in the suggested case
there should be no pressure in any lines after the pump right?

My brother did install this stuff his self,  i think he just replaced the
transfer pump and not the whole assembly.  However I think he probably
installed it correctly,  he is a mechanic and stuff but everyone can make
mistakes.

any other ideas
