I have my new Scirocco!(semi-long)

Well yesterday my scirocco arrived as promised. At 12:30 I got a call from 
the truck driver telling me he was on the NJ turnpike. So I left work and 
headed home. Everyone at my company is dying to see this car that I haven't 
shut up about for the past 3 weeks. At about 2:30 I met the truck driver at 
a local supermarket. I was expecting the car to be delivered on one of those 
large 10 car open trailers, however the car cam shipped in a car enclosed 
trailer. I was pleasantly surprised to see this. The driver commented on how 
it was one of the nicest scirocco that he had ever seen but that the other 
car that he had on the trailer would beat me in a race. I looked in the 
trailer and saw an old Saab 9000 turbo. I just gave him a smile.

Now I didn't think it was possible but the car is even better than I 
expected. This car is simply gorgeous. Pictures don't do it justice. There a 
re a few minor paint issues that I knew about but nothing that can't be 
fixed.

As far how the car feels. Well it is a very tight package that pulls very 
hard. I can't even imagine what a chip is going to do. It pulls in every 
gear but second is definitely sweet. It has a short shifter on the car that 
will take some time getting readjusted to. It's been a year and half since I 
have driven a scirocco and in between I have been driving on a MK4 cable 
shifter which is a whole different world. Unfortunately the tranny is very 
stock which means the gearing is short, too short for a turbo car. Im gonna 
have to change that soon, so if anyone knows of a solid FF or FN tranny for 
sale please let me know. I also threw my new wheels on it last night in my 
driveway at about 10pm using a flashlight. 16" ABT A22's. The same ones that 
the previous owner had on the car just a new set.
