Re: Power Sunroof?



Somewhere on the vast web I found an article about putting the "power"
components from an Audi (5000?) into a scirocco.  They have the same sunroof
mechanism, and you just replace the crank with the motor assembly,
essentially.  If you are going to put in a sunroof, maybe  the best thing to
do is to cut out the roof and seam weld in a sunroof-roof along the trim
lines?  I think the tech I saw on the Audi power roof was done on a GTI, so
maybe look at the GTI lists.
