Anyone have any experience with heavy body work?

I have decided to design my own dash, and recast Seidl my body kit
out of either heavy vinyl or polyurethane so that it will be more
damage resistant than the stock fiberglass. Both of these, of course,
require making custom molds. I dislike the idea of working with
actual glass fibers (health reasons) if I can help it, so I was
wondering if anyone had a good source for either polyurethane or
vinyl mesh to use in the place of the glass mesh. I know it can be
done this way, and I already have a source for the casting materials,
I just don't know where to get the mesh, and thought that someone on
the list might have done a lot of body work and had some idea where
to start looking.

Thanks a lot.

The goal is to overcome the deliberate nature of the process.
