  Those highly-detailed bodies could only have been formed on a multi-piece
plug/mold/master.  Very expensive.  Only feasible if you are buidling (and
selling!) thousands of bodies.  
'Course, if we only want a few, hand-built bodies, then forming the bodies
in two pieces, joining them after forming, might be an option.....?

Actually, I thought that about 6 or 10 years ago they had developed a
process for forming undercuts in lexan. The comparatively high-quality lexan
bodies from Tamiya and others definitely have some shapes like this.

Of course, it is probably too expensive to have a setup like this in the
home, and the BoLink body we're trying to get was designed in the early 80s
with the old technology...
