The  spindels with the Carrier bearing  or wheel bearing....

  Will the spindel with the carrier bearing out of an A2 Jetta fit into my 
Mk2 scirocco?  I need to replace this as soon as possible but I'm broke so I 
can't afford a new one right now.   Jay has a wrecked jetta, I was hoping I 
could just use the spindel out of it, but if it doesn't fit I'm scewed.
Thanks for any info anyone can give.
