I was going to strip Ken Buck's old '79 Champagne Edition Scirocco, but
after showing the car to Mark Peele, he talked me out of it.

The passenger inner fender front lip is gone, but the rest of the car
only has surface rust, and the floors are good.

It won't be a show car, but it would make a great daily driver, so I'm
going to hold on to it

Before you pull the plug, get a 2nd opinion, or at least try to find it a
home for when you are done stripping it.

Btw, I have a straight, rustfree, Rabbit shell that I'm giving away, as a
project, or it can be used to restore a Pickup, or the floor of a
Scirocco.
