Oh, don't get me wrong, I like a stiff ride, but once the car is
lowered to the point that the control arms are angled up from the
bottom of the car, I find the oversteer unbearable. I am not talking
about comfort here, I am talking about the shocks not having enough
travel to protect the car from damage. The best Scirocco I ever had,
was using Tokiko HPs and a very stiff set of springs. It was not
comfortable, but kept the control arms parallel to the ground, and
kept the suspension from bottoming out and damaging the car.

There is a big difference between not liking the ride of a car
because it is uncomfortable, and not liking a suspension setup
because it negatively effects handling and increases the chance of
damage to your vehicle.







The goal is to overcome the deliberate nature of the process.
