RE: lowering compression ratio for turbo

I'd be uneasy too.
IMHO, there's not much chance of an aftermarket turbo ever being a daily
driver. Certainly not during the turbo installation and the following
weeks/months of de-bugging.
Deciding between a proven path (traditional bolt-ons) that, by definition,
has been done over and over, and the wild setup that will drop jaws and
maybe even work, is a tough one. We have to ask ourselves,"How much
time/money am I willing to invest?" Whether we like it or not, the ego also
enters in at some point.

Y'all have a good Thanksgiving, hear?

I have 9A 2.0 block (mileage to low to justify ripping
it apart) sitting in my carport begging me to do
something, anything with it. Need to sell my M3 for
funds before I can afford to do anything though.

I'm just still struggling with the dilemma of going
with the "traditional" bolt-on's or do something
that'll turn heads. The idea of having to feel my way
through tuning a turbo'ed system makes me slightly
uneasy - it's supposed to be a daily driver....(Please
pardon the whine)...

Happy Turkey Day, everyone! JT
