Hi,
I`m from Germany and itīs right what Dirk have written. You can get any car
for a little bit money. For examble a vw golf for  US$ 0.50 a passat or
scirocco also. The cars are without a KAT (catalytic converter) and that is the
problem here in Germany. For cars without KAT you must pay many money and that
why nobody want this cars.
The problem for the americans is that you can buy the car but shipping to
the states is very expansive and it give any problems, for example: the EURO
bumper are not allowed in the USA. The custom say the car donīt dive in the USA
with the EURO bumpers.
