Why is it worth less than when you bought it?  Did it sustain additional
damage broken components?

I think it would be worth AT LEAST as much as when you bought it.
(PS I paid $2800 for my very clean '87 two years ago.  I would NOT sell it
for less today)

Seems to me that most roccos are going for a good bit more than their book
value.  My assumption is that roccos are getting less and less common, but
still have fairly high demand.

So what is a legitimate price for say the following:
1988 Silver 16v
138k, strong runner
some minor rust issues
Euro Lights
TT Exhaust
Neuspeed SoftSport suspension

I paid 2500 for it without the lights.  I think I paid a bit much.  Now I am
selling it, and am asking $2100.  Is that legitimate?  About the same as the
one just posted, but with Euro Lights
