RE: Eureka! T-bodies the *cheapass way*

Sophistication aside, clearly the major pain in the neck with the Digi-1
system is that it can not be programmed conveniently. However, the guys out
at SNS Tuning seem to have a real handle on it. An initial round of three
chips will set me back $75. Then, I'll take the car to a dyno and run it
with a wide-band O2 sensor. I send the charts back to SNS, and they'll burn
me an improved series of chips for another $75. I figure that with this
process, I'll end spending about $500 for a completely mapped management
system. The dyno testing will run $200 or so, but I'd be inclined to do it,
anyway. Injectors from a Ford Mustang will run about $20 each. So, my parts
list may break down like this:

throttlebodies: $1035
G60 Digifant-1 system: $275*
injectors: $80* (assuming that I can't get them with the Digi system)
ECU chips: $150
dyno tuning: $200
Total: $1740

Installation would be essentially free 'cause I can do it myself. That total
price tag is still nothing to sneeze, but... Hey, ya gotta pay to play!
