OKay so poly engine mounts is a source of increased vibrations
but the chassi front cross memeber we are talking about will not
correct?

Stiffer mounts will transmit more vibrations to the chassis than absorb
and cancel them out. Follow?

New mounts will decrease the vibrations by restoring engine/tranny
position in a way that the mount is isolated from the chassis.
