If you really want to minimize the number of holes in the rear floor, its 
possible to fab a mount using the two rear bumper bolts.  That is where 
I grounded my battery.  But, dunno about on later cars, this was on MKI.

On the FSP car, it has a smaller garden tractor batty in smaller box in 
the spare tire well.  But.....it still stands proud of the floor, so 
wooden tray was made so dogs can ride back there without duress.  If you 
are using a SLA batty like an Optima, you may be able to lay it over.


Summit racing is local to me, but you may still be able to buy just what 
you want piece meal.  Batty boxes may be bought at Sears or many auto 
places, wire at welding or stereo places....
