Hey, David, my 'Roc just started doing the same thing.  I've tested the alt
and it tests okay. wonder what it could be....

Recently I've noticed that my idiot light for the battery stays on after
I"ve started the car....only going out after I've revved the engine past 3k.
Then it goes off and stays off.  I checked belts and topped off the battery
buy no change.  Is the alternator on the way out?
