RE: My new exhaust!

I have shoved the midpide in as far as I possible can, which still
might not be enough seeing as how I am not the strongest person in
the world, and was at a less than optimal angle. However, it does not
seem that that is the problem. It seems to be hitting on the very
last upward bend before the muffler. It seems like the exhaust is
riding just a little too high, and that spot just occasionally rubs
on the heatshield above it. I have thought about removing the
tailpipe and cutting a bit off the muffler side of it, so that I can
get the mounting bracket a little closer to the rubber hangar, which
would make the whole thing hang a little lower, but I don't want to
do this if it is going to settle over the next few days.

The goal is to overcome the deliberate nature of the process.
