RE: overheating-I give up

<snip Brad>
Problem:
Car runs at at least 3/4 of temp guage or higher, with oil temps over 120.
This is at idle in 60 degree weather, no AC. Fan cycles on and off, but
only at 3/4 or higher.

Attempted solutions:
Replaced - fan switch, thermostat, temp sender
All hoses are fine. Not leaking coolant. Had radiator flow tested and was
fine. Flushed several times, coolant runs clean.
Ran car with upper radiator hose off, water spews out pretty good, seeming
to be that the water pump is fine.

What else? Am I missing something?
<end snip>

And now for something completely different...

Follow Ron's suggestion and verify that you have an overheating problem and
not bad gauges/senders. If you do have an overheating problem, check your
timing. A car that is running too lean will overheat. It stands to reason
that a car that is a little too lean will run a little hotter. It's
definitely a lot easier/cheaper to verify prior to going to a dealership or
tearing down the engine.
