Re: Calloway Scirocco: REQUIRED reading

i bought a mk2 callaway for parts in the past, about 5 years ago. it was a
silver '82 (barely mk2, heh). the block was gone, piston froze to cylinder
while engine was running, stretched and shattered rod (14 pieces), siezed
rod bearing to crank (can we say boost limiter cranked too high). at least
the guy smoked the porche he was racing.
anyhow, took euro bumpers, kamei kit (WHOLE kit, full, not just spoiler),
euro lights, exhaust, oh, and of course, the turbo kit and head :P. its all
in boxes in my garage, waiting for me to start up another project besides
the der-rocco. who knows, may throw the turbo on the green beast if im
willing to step down to an 8v head, or make a custom manifold.
I'll just worry about getting to cincy for the moment.
