Re: Vacuum hoses...was Re: Warm intake issue




  The flap on the air box is not vacuum operated.  There is a ?heating
element?that allows the warm air in until the motor warms up,...once the
warm engine heats up this element,...the flap closes off the warm air and
allows the cool air to enter.  As far as the purple hose on your car,....it
should run from the intake to the carbon canister under the drivers side
front wheel.
