I'm not sure of anything any more... turning it counterclockwise (like loosening a typical right-handed bolt) leans it out, right? I do it by turning it clockwise (richer) until the rpms peak, then counterclockwise until the rpms just start to drop off. Even if I'm doing it backwards, that works fine with all my other jalopies, but this one doesn't like it all.
