starting problems

Waiting on USPS for a Bentley,,so here's a run down of where things set; car
set for several years so drained the old gas, cleaned the pick up filter,
put a filter in line Before new fuel pump,new pump relay, fresh gas,Bang
started right up for a couple of seconds then dies,after trying a few times
seems to run a little longer 5 seconds or so, what should I be looking to
try next??
