You plug it up...

I went with a K&N breather on my 16V.

I also changed my 16V Scirocco intake boot to an 8V intake boot, w/an A2
16V TB boot, and a 3" pipe.

I then routed my ISV down, to where the breather hose used to connect to
the airbox, to supply clean air for the ISV..

The K&N breather might not be a good idea if the engine burns oil...
